This painting depicts a common early morning Iowa Farm Scene, with a gentle fog hovering over the unplanted fields, while all the house lights are on inferring the internal buzz of the farm family's preparations for the day. Artistically, I experimented with a variety of purples, even for the house and barns to create the early morning colors. I chose a 1:3 ratio size canvas to capture the vast extended farm property.
