Welcome to the artistry of Les Reu.
As an artist, I love colors. My favorite color is purple. Purple is so royal, majestic, and rich, I try and include it in all of my paintings. However, my favorite shade is lavender, which is a much softer, more peaceful, and romantic hue. Lavender touches the depth of my soul, which is why I sign most of my paintings in this color.
I like pairing these colors with the complimentary colors of fuchsia, salmon, and maize, which I find in dramatic sunsets.
My preferred medium is oil painting, and I am self-taught.
