Reflections of Light I

In 2023 I became fascinated with the beauty of stained glass windows. I requested and received a beginner's stained glass tool kit for a Christmas gift. I met with a local stained glass business who suggested I take a course on how to begin making stained glass windows. I attempted signing up twice, and to my disappointment, both times the small class was already full; so, I decided to paint my own stained glass window! This composition is made up of a geometrical design including triangles (glass) pieces in a spiral, and a colorful display of colors. After painting the design, I used a chrome paint to illustrate the metallic solder, and then added highlights of light that gently cast light shades of colors on the frame. I sealed it with a high gloss polyurethane to give it a sense of an actual glass.
